Design and Art freely merge to give birth to a new world. Desart: the encounter between pure form, or “with aura”-as Walter Benjamin defined it-and functional form, reproducible in multiple copies. Polsit by Anika observes this reality, perceives its “liquid state”-as Bauman defines it-and chooses, with the Desart Collection brand, to recreate that entrepreneur-designer dialectic that gave birth to the best Italian design. Desart tries to remove constraints in order to increase quality; visual, tactile quality that can be experienced through projects by designers who have the desire and courage to feel free in this “middle ground” and create refined objects with new forms.
